I’ll admit, I kind of had an instant reaction when I saw Ballard Designs stuff, it just looks so good. The style feels classic without being stuffy or boring, and the colors are usually really pretty. Some pieces are definitely a bit pricey, which made me pause, but the overall look is hard to resist.

Customer service was really helpful and got my order issue fixed quickly, which I appreciated. I do wish the problem hadn’t happened in the first place, but at least the support team handled it well and made the process painless.

I ended up sending back a lamp because it just didn’t fit the room the way I’d hoped. The return was straightforward, and customer service got back to me quickly. My refund showed up sooner than I expected, which was a nice surprise. i wish every return went this smoothly.

I found what I needed quickly, which was nice. It took a bit to load when I was checking out, but overall the order was easy enough.

I’ve ordered a few things from Ballard Designs, the quality has been solid. It’s definitely not the cheapest place to shop, because apparently we’re all just supposed to be fine with furniture prices these days, but the pieces do look nicer in person and don’t have that flimsy, “this might collapse if you breathe on it” feeling.
The sale prices are really where it starts to make sense. I waited on a side table instead of paying full price, which was a rare moment of self-control, and ended up getting a good deal. Shipping was fine too, nothing magical, but it showed up without drama. I’d probably buy from them again, assuming the sale section continues to do the heavy lifting.

The table I got is close to the pictures, and the size worked out just like I needed. The color was a little warmer in person though, so it didn’t really go with the room the way I thought it would.

It’s still a decent buy, and I’m keeping it, but I do wish they showed the finish a bit more clearly. Next time I’ll probably look closer at the details before ordering

My order arrived right on time, which was nice because I was actually home that afternoon making lunch and didn’t have to worry about missing it. Everything was packed well, nothing looked damaged, and there were no issues at all

I’ll be honest, ordering furniture online always makes me a little nervous because you just never know what kind of disaster is going to show up at your door. But my Ballard Designs order actually arrived in great shape, which was such a relief.
The packaging was seriously solid. There was plenty of padding, everything was wrapped tightly, and there were no dents, scratches, cracked corners, or random mystery damage. that should be the bare minimum, but apparently it’s not always, so I was very happy to see it done right.

Delivery looked clean too, like the box hadn’t been thrown down a flight of stairs on the way here. Everything felt handled properly, and I didn’t have to deal with the whole return/exchange headache, thank goodness. I’d definitely order from them again.
